Lovely 1950's handmade metal coal scuttle bucket.
In very good condition with natural rusty patina consistent with age which has been waxed to seal.
Used in the early and mid 1900's to pick up coal and coke from a pile and used in fireplaces.
It comes with a small tin candle holder which was found with the bucket, probably to light up the basement where the coal was stored.
A delightful rare item for country home decor.
